to solving your DPF concerns
Certain vocational truck applications such as Hiway Construction, Inter-City Utility, Mining, Agriculture and other similar uses require the truck engine to be running in support of the vocation without the driver in the cab. Should a stationary DPF regeneration be needed, requested by a dash lamp illumination, and the operator is not in the cab it is likely the regeneration will be delayed until a engine de-rate or shutdown occurs.
Installation of the TFB Global Re-Gen Alert System will provide an audio warning to operators outside of the Cab that a DPF regeneration is required.
The operator returns to the truck, silences the alarm and performs the DPF regeneration.

Optional Prove-out Override
As the DFP Alert System monitors the DPF Lamp, during the engine start sequence all engine warning lamps are activated for a few seconds. This prove-out will activate the DPF Alert System for a few seconds sounding the warning horn. The driver may override the warning horn using the override switch. There have been instances where a driver has left the override switch active and a required regeneration event was missed.
Installing the optional TFB Global TDM-6 Module will inhibit the warning horn activation during prove-out. This eliminates inadvertant override activation.
The TDM-6 is backwards compatible with first generation DPF Alert Systems built with Molex connectors.
