DPF Re-Gen Control Conversion
Ford F650-750 2008-2010
With Cummins ISB CM2150
The Gen-Timer EX monitors the DPF soot load. When a parked regeneration event is needed a digital clock display begins to count up, recording the time since request began. At the same time an external warning device such as a strobe lamp activates alerting the operator that a regeneration is needed. Using the Gen-Timer EX allows the dispatcher and driver to make an accurate decision whether to service another customer or immediately perform the parked regeneration.
We take pride in our wide selection of quality products. All of the products we offer use premimun brand components. Products can be delivered to you within 2-3 business days.

Ford F650-750 chassis equipped with Cummins ISB CM2150 Diesel DPF engines were built without the typical “Parked Re-Generation” feature common to most all other medium duty vocational trucks. The absence of this system requires the driver to remember and execute a “hold the brake pedal down while applying the park brake, when the DPF lamp is on then release the……..”, well, who could remember that while maneuvering in traffic anyway.
Our conversion kit provides a conventinal command switch and lamp assembley used in our CAT kit.
Using our proprietary circuit design, the interface module is tied to the engine control processor. When a parked regeneration event is needed, as commanded by the MCM (DDEC 6) or the Cummins ECU (CM2150) the DPF Alert Module will activate an auxiliary horn to alert the driver of needed action. In order to have a unique audio alert, we recommend using a flasher in the auxiliary horn trigger circuit.
The 2011 kit is identical in form and function to the prior year. We strongly recommend the use of this conversion in mixed driver operations. The DPF lamp on the 2011 IP is very difficult to distinguish and there have been numerous reports of Gateway Modules not allowing the park brake cycle to start the re-gen.

DPF Re-Gen Control Conversion
Ford F650-750 2011
With Cummins ISB CM2250
Ford F650-750 chassis equipped with Caterpillar C7 Diesel DPF engines were built without the “Parked Re-Generation” feature common to most all other medium duty vocational trucks. The absence of this system requires the driver to continue to drive above 20 MPH continuously for up to 40 minutes in order to burn off the accumulated soot. Failure to do so will result in a de-rate and or engine shut down.
To avoid this costly condition TFB Global now offers a conversion kit to configure the F650-750 consistent with other manufactures driver commanded re-generation modes.
High quality and 100% customer satisfaction are our top priorities.
